No-Churn Easy Ice Cream - Kamba Mpenge


Recipe by: Kamba Mpenge


Ingredients:

6 eggs separated
500ml cream
4 Tbs sweetener
2 tsp vanilla extract

Method:


Gather all ingredients.


Separate the eggs and whip the egg whites till stiff peaks form.


You must be able to turn the bowl upside down without the egg white falling.


in a separate bowl whip the cream and sweetener


in a third bowl, mix the egg yolks with vanilla extract 

Fold in the whipped cream into the egg whites
then fold in the egg yolk mix

Place in a container and freeze 
This makes 2 litres

  7. Recipe looks easy enough to follow. However, next time please warn people not to overshisk the cream coz i ended up with butter lol

  8. I am struggling with this. Have made it several times and find that the yolks seem to separate and land up at the bottom of the mixture in the freezer and have been turning it upside down every hour or so till it is frozen. It tastes good but seems to have a gritty texture.
