Smokey Chicken Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce

Lets face it. Chicken os way more affordable than beef, and with this recipe, you're left woth Delicious meatballs at a fraction of the cost.

Ingredients:

400g chicken fillets
3.5 tbs heba pap
2 egg whites
1 tbs smoked paprika
10 drops liquid smoke
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbs oregano
1 bag skinny pasta
1 tin tomatoes
1 large tin/container tomato paste
2 sprigs rosemary
Holsum or coconut oil to fry

Method:

Mince chicken or place in food processor.
Place into a bowl and add heba pap, paprika, liquid smoke, salt and pepper, oregano and egg whites.
Mix well.
Wet hands and roll into small meatballs.
Melt holsum or heat other oil.
Fry the meatballs until browned on all sides.
Place into an oven proof dish and bake in the oven at 180C for 15 minutes.
In a pot, add holsum or oil, then empty contents of tinned tomatoes and tomato paste.
Add rosemary and salt and pepper to taste.
Place the meatballs in the sauce and cook further.
Enjoy on skinny pasta (or zoodles!)

Tip:
If you don't have heba pap, use half Psyllium husk and half almond flour to replace the heba.
