Banting Bobotie - Elize Swart

BOBOTIE by the amazing Elize Swart
 serves 5

500g beef mince
25 ml olive or coconut oil
15ml curry powder
5ml tumeric
4 tbs carb smart chutney
2 tbs heba pap
1egg
1 Onion
30ml vinegar
1 apple (optional)

Method:

Preheat oven to 180C.
Fry onion in oil..add curry and tumeric.
Fry for a few minutes.
Add mince and fry till done.
Add salt and vinegar..fry together with mince for a few minutes.
Take off stove and set aside.
Add chutney and heba pap..if you like add
1 diced peel apple(optional).
Dish all up into oven proof dish.
Press 4 bay leafs in mince.
Mix 1 egg and 150 ml milk together.
Pour over meat.
Bake at 180 for 30min.
