BEGINNER BANTING CHALLENGE RULES
Right, let’s keep this simple and doable ππΌ
1. Download the CarbWise app and actually use it. This helps you understand what you’re eating instead of guessing.
2. Download the Beginner’s Guide and read it. Not skim… read it. Most of your questions are already answered there.
3. Try get yourself a slow-release magnesium supplement. This helps with cramps, sleep, and the adjustment phase.
4. There is a 4-week meal plan you can follow as a guideline. Week 1 includes some Orange List foods to help you ease into Banting and minimise carb flu symptoms. From Week 2, we move over to Green List.
5. There will be daily check-in posts in the group. Use them. Accountability makes a massive difference.
6. Drink to thirst. Don’t force water, but don’t ignore your body either.
7. Salt your food. Especially in the beginning. It helps prevent headaches, dizziness, and that flat feeling.
8. Slip-ups happen. Don’t spiral. Your next meal is your reset… make it Banting friendly and carry on.
9. Stick to the Green List from Week 2.
10. Keep it simple.
11. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Stay consistent.
12. Ask questions, but also take responsibility. This works if you do.
13. Show up daily, even on the hard days. Especially then.
