Ingredients:
6 heaped Tablespoons whey protein powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 onion, thinly sliced
Oil of choice for frying - I used homemade tallow
Method:
Submerge thinly sliced onion in cold water for an hour, making sure all the onions are loosened.
Mix together whey protein powder, paprika, salt and ground black pepper.
Once ready to eat, place the oil of choice in a pot over high heat on the stove.
Once oil has heated, drain the onion in a colander, then using your hand, coat well in the whey mixture.
Drop into hot oil and fry until golden.
Drain on paper towel and serve.
