Rich Beef Stew


Ingredients:


600g stewing beef and bones

4 large carrots, peeled and chopped into chunks

2 onions, peeled and diced,

1 tbs crushed garlic

1 punnet mushrooms, halved

2 tbs oil of choice

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbs paprika

1 tin chopped tomatoes

1 pack beef and vegetable carb smart soup


Method:

Melt oil in pot.

Add beef, onions and garlic until mrat browned.

Add tin of tomatoes, 1 tin water, paprika, seasoning, carrots and mushrooms.

Bring to the boil, secure lid and place in hay bag (if you have one) to cook either overnight or while you're at work. Otherwise, reduce heat and cook until meat tender.

Once meat is tender, bring the mixture to high heat again to reduce the liquid.

Once most of the liquid has reduced, add the packet of soup and allow to cook for a further 3 minutes.

Serve with cauliflower rice or something similar
