Banting Pavlova - Joelle Naude


RECIPE BY: JOELLE NAUDE

Ingredients:

For Pavlova's: 

4 egg whites
4 tbs powdered xylitol
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

For filling/topping:

Whipped cream
Vanilla
Flaked almonds
Berry coulis
Strawberry

Method:

Preheat oven to 100C
Whisk egg whites until soft peaks.
Add powdered xylitol - one spoon at a time.
Add cream of tartar.
Pipe into 5 rounds.
Bake for 30 mins.
Switch down heat to 75C, bake for a further 1 hour.

Whip cream, add vanilla, add to pavlova, top with remaining ingredients...
Enjoy.
