Creamy Mushroom A'la King - Sonnett van Zyl


Oyster mushrooms
Salt and Pepper
1/2 tsp garlic 
Handful of peas
 2tbs cream cheese
1tbs butter 
1tbs grated Parmesan 
Black pepper


Cut mushrooms into Slivers, and sauté in butter with salt, pepper and garlic, set aside.
Boil peas, drain and set aside.
Mix together cream cheese, butter, salt, garlic, oregano, Parmesan and black pepper
Blended together before adding into mushroom and peas.
Stir in the blended sauce ingredients and heat through. Add a pinch of xanthan gum to prevent separation of sauce and to allow to thicken sufficiently. 

Serve with shavings of Parmesan
